We hereby have the pleasure to invite you to World Outgames 2nd International Conference on LGBT Human Rights in Copenhagen 27th – 29th July, 2009. 1000 delegates from around the world are expected to participate in the 3-day conference, which will be part of World Outgames in 2009. The conference will be held at the new and spectacular Danish Radio’s concert hall, and the program will include a wide range of high-profile international keynote speakers.

We invite everyone to submit proposals for workshops within the ten conference themes:

Goals of the Conference
The overall goals of the conference are:
- To raise awareness and put LGBT Human Rights on the agenda.
- To collect and present a series of good practices that has improved the lives of LGBT people around the world. In doing so, it is our aim to create a useful resource for individuals, governments and organisations committed to working for global LGBT rights.

Collaborating Partners
Together with the Conference Co-Presidents, Svend Robinson and Rebeca Sevilla, World Outgames have established an International Advisory Group consisting of 15 LGBT human rights experts.
The conference organisers have established strategic partnerships with Amnesty International, HIVOS, IBM, the Danish Institute of Human Rights, Danish Industry and the Copenhagen City Council. Moreover collaboration has been established with amongst others Danish National Association of Gays & Lesbians (LBL), the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA), ILGA-Europe, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC), the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Youth and Student Organisation (IGLYO) and Human Rights Watch.
The workers out track is supported by, and will be organised in collaboration with, The Danish Confederation of Unions (LO), HK Denmark and other national labour organisations.
The out for business track is supported by, and will be organised in collaboration with, the International Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (IGLCC)
The sports track is supported by, and will be organised in collaboration with, GLISA, the European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF) and national sports organisations.

Par la présente nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à la seconde Conférence Internationale sur les Droits Humains des LGBT qui aura lieu pendant les World Outgames de Copenhague du 27 au 29 Juillet 2009. 1000 Délégués venus des quatre coins de la planète sont attendus pour cette conférence de 3 jours, partie intégrante des World Outgames 2009. La conférence se tiendra au sein de la nouvelle et spectaculaire salle de concert du nom de « Danish Radio’s concert hall », et le programme comprendra une large gamme d’interlocuteurs internationaux renommés.

Objectifs de la conference

- Collecter et présenter une série de bonnes pratiques qui ont améliorées le quotidien des LGBT dans le monde. De la sorte, notre but est de créer une source d’information utile pour les individus, les gouvernements et les organisations dévoués dans leur travail pour les Droits des LGBT.

Objetivos de la Conferencia
Los objetivos primordiales de la Conferencia son:
- Desarrollar Conciencia y poner los Derechos Humanos de LGBT al orden del dia.
- Recoger y presentar una serie de buenas prácticas que han mejorado las vidas de personas LGBT alrededor del mundo. Al hacer esto, nuestro objetivo es crear una fuente útil para individous, gobiernos y organizaciones comprometidas a trabajar por los derechos globales de LGBT.

Socios colaboradores
En consonancia con los copresidentes Svend Robinson y Rebeca Sevilla, World Outgames ha constituido un Grupo Asesor Internacional cuyos 15 integrantes son expertos en materia de derechos humanos LGBT.
Por otra parte, los organizadores de la conferencia han establecido vínculos estratégicos con Amnistía Internacional, HIVOS, IBM, el Instituto Danés de Derechos Humanos, Industria de Dinamarca y el ayuntamiento de la ciudad de Copenhague. Además, los lazos de colaboración incluyen, entre otros organismos, la Asociación de Lesbianas y Gays de Dinamarca (LBL), la Asociación Internacional de Lesbianas y Gays (ILGA), ILGA-Europa, la Comisión Internacional sobre los Derechos Humanos de Gays y Lesbianas (IGLHRC), la Organización Internacional de Jóvenes y Estudiantes Gays, Lesbianas, Bisexuales, Transgénero y Queer (IGLYO) y Human Rights Watch.
